The FN 545 Tactical is a high-capacity, suppressor-ready .45 ACP pistol built for performance, durability, and modern tactical applications. Combining the proven ergonomics of the FN 509 Tactical with increased .45 ACP capacity, this pistol delivers 18+1 rounds, setting a new standard for big bore handguns.
Designed for versatility, the FN 545 Tactical features FN’s Low-Profile Optics Mounting System™, allowing users to easily mount a wide range of red dot optics without the need for custom milling. Co-witness tritium night sights provide reliable targeting in all lighting conditions.
The 4.71" cold hammer-forged barrel is threaded (0.578x28) for suppressors and compensators, while the polished feed ramp ensures reliable cycling across a variety of ammunition. The pistol is built around a high-endurance conical striker and a precision-tuned trigger with a clean break around 6 lbs.
Engineered for control, the enhanced grip frame and interchangeable backstraps allow shooters to customize fit and handling. Fully ambidextrous controls—including slide stop and magazine release—make the FN 545 Tactical adaptable for any shooter.
Additional features include a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights and lasers, aggressive slide serrations, and a loaded chamber indicator. The pistol ships with one 18-round and one 15-round magazine, along with multiple optics mounting plates and a premium case.
