DESCRIPTION

The Heckler & Koch CC9 is a compact, double-stack 9mm pistol engineered to deliver full-size performance in a highly concealable platform. Built to HK’s legendary durability standards, the CC9 underwent over 750,000 rounds of testing and meets stringent NATO Army Armaments Group AC/225 requirements—ensuring reliability in the harshest conditions.

Constructed with a cold hammer-forged, cannon-grade steel barrel and a +P rated chassis system, the CC9 is built for strength and longevity. The slide and barrel feature a DLC coating for enhanced wear resistance and durability under hard use.

Designed for superior shootability, the CC9 offers the feel and control of a full-size pistol in a compact frame. Its advanced trigger system provides a smooth, consistent pull, while optimized recoil management allows for fast, accurate follow-up shots. The modular grip system with interchangeable backstraps ensures a customizable fit, and the grip geometry mirrors the proven ergonomics of the VP9.

Optics-ready from the factory, the CC9 features a high-visibility tritium front sight paired with a blacked-out serrated rear sight for rapid target acquisition in all lighting conditions. Fully ambidextrous controls—including slide stop and magazine release—make it adaptable for any shooter.

As HK’s smallest double-stack pistol, the CC9 is purpose-built for concealed carry. Measuring just over 6 inches in length and under 1 inch in width, it offers excellent concealability without sacrificing performance or capacity. The pistol includes both 10-round and 12-round magazines, providing flexibility for carry and range use.

With its combination of durability, shootability, and compact design, the HK CC9 sets a new standard for modern concealed carry pistols.

Technology

During the 1960s, Heckler & Koch perfected the famous polygonal profile barrel technology. Conventional lands-and-grooves rifling allow propellant gasses to escape around the front of the bullet as it is fired from the barrel muzzle. A polygonal bore profile effectively seals propellant gases behind the bullet—increasing bullet velocity. An added benefit of a polygonal barrel is its resistance to wear. A polygonal barrel will normally outlast a conventional “lands-and-grooves” barrel by thousands of rounds. Polygonal barrels were one of the many radical design elements used on the HK P7 series pistol and this same breakthrough technology is present on all current HK handguns.

A radical new material used on the P9S pistol in the late 1960s, advanced polymers were soon used as major components and assemblies on a variety of HK products — including the receivers of MP5s in the 1960s. HK polymer molding technology led to the introduction of another synthetic framed HK handgun, the futuristic-looking VP70. Heckler & Koch pioneered the use of polymers more than fifteen years before competing firms. Today, HK remains a technology leader in the use of innovative and high-strength polyamides.
