The Geissele GFR MOD1 Recce 18” Rifle in 6MM ARC is a lightweight, precision-driven platform designed for versatility across duty, defensive, hunting, and competition applications. Built around the proven GFR® system, the Recce MOD1 maximizes the performance of the 6MM ARC cartridge—delivering flat trajectories, excellent downrange energy, and reduced recoil in a highly maneuverable package.

At its core is an 18” cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7.5 twist, offering exceptional durability and consistent accuracy under sustained use. The rifle-length +1 Phased Array® Gas System, paired with Geissele’s Tri-Port™ technology, reduces recoil impulse and enhances shot-to-shot recovery for faster, more accurate follow-up shots.

The fully ambidextrous billet receiver set provides intuitive controls for both left- and right-handed shooters, improving weapon manipulation in dynamic environments. A Nanoweapon®-coated bolt carrier group enhances durability, corrosion resistance, and reliability under high round counts.

Equipped with a 16.5” MK16 Super Modular Rail, the Recce MOD1 offers a streamlined and adaptable interface for modern accessories. Combined with a lighter overall weight compared to the Stratomatch models, this rifle is optimized for mobility without sacrificing performance.
