The Geissele GFR MOD1 Recce 18” Rifle in DDC (Desert Dirt Color) is a lightweight, precision-focused platform built for shooters who demand versatility, durability, and consistent performance. Designed around the efficient 6MM ARC cartridge, this rifle delivers flat trajectories, strong downrange energy, and reduced recoil in a highly maneuverable package.

At its core is an 18” cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7.5 twist, providing excellent barrel life and consistent accuracy under sustained use. The rifle-length +1 Phased Array® Gas System, combined with Geissele’s Tri-Port™ technology, reduces recoil impulse and improves shot-to-shot recovery for faster follow-up shots.

The fully ambidextrous billet receiver set offers intuitive controls for both left- and right-handed shooters, enhancing speed and efficiency during reloads and manipulations. A Nanoweapon®-coated bolt carrier group ensures long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and smooth cycling in demanding conditions.

Equipped with a 16.5” MK16 Super Modular Rail, the Recce MOD1 provides a streamlined and adaptable mounting solution for modern accessories. The DDC anodized finish gives each rifle a unique appearance, with slight variations in shade due to the nature of the anodizing process.
