The A5 Hunter combines a deep black anodized receiver, high-gloss blued barrel, and gloss Grade I Turkish walnut stock for a traditional Browning field-gun appearance. The stock features a vertical grip, 18 LPI cut checkering, and shim adjustment for length of pull, cast, and drop, allowing hunters to fine-tune the fit.

At the heart of the A5 is Browning's recoil-operated Kinematic Drive System. This proven system uses recoil energy to cycle the action while keeping combustion gases away from the receiver and action. Browning designed the system for consistent operation across a wide range of 20 gauge field loads and challenging hunting conditions.
