The gloss blued steel receiver features scroll engraving and is paired with a sporter-contour 24-inch barrel, spiral fluted bolt, ergonomic bolt knob, and threaded muzzle brake with thread protector. The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws while the barrel is free floated to promote consistent accuracy.

The X-Bolt 2 also incorporates additional bolt guidance surfaces for smoother cycling, a short 60-degree bolt lift, top-tang safety, Bolt Unlock Button, and X-Lock scope mounting system. The adjustable three-lever DLX Trigger comes factory set at 3.5 pounds and can be adjusted down to 3.0 pounds.
