The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Dark Maple is a premium bolt-action hunting rifle that combines the proven performance of the X-Bolt 2 platform with the distinctive beauty of a stabilized AAA dark maple stock. Designed for hunters who demand lightweight handling, dependable accuracy, and refined aesthetics, this 2025 SHOT Show Special brings a unique wood-stocked configuration to the X-Bolt Speed family.

The stabilized AAA dark maple stock features a satin oil finish and textured grip panels designed to provide a secure hold in changing hunting conditions. Its trim profile and reduced weight complement the fluted sporter contour barrel, creating a rifle that is easy to carry and maneuver in the field.

The .270 Winchester chambering is paired with a 22" steel barrel finished in durable Tungsten Cerakote. The barreled action is bedded for stability and the barrel is free-floated to support consistent accuracy. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and includes a radial-style muzzle brake and thread protector.

The redesigned X-Bolt 2 action incorporates additional bolt guidance for smoother operation, a spiral-fluted bolt with an ergonomic knob, and a short 60° bolt lift that allows fast cycling while clearing larger optics. The adjustable DLX Trigger comes factory set at 3.5 pounds and can be adjusted down to 3.0 pounds.

A top-tang safety, Bolt Unlock Button, low-profile bottom metal, X-Lock scope mounting system, detachable magazine, and Inflex 1.25 recoil pad round out the feature set.
