The Geissele URG-I Airborne Charging Handle (ACH®) is an ambidextrous charging handle designed for AR15, M4, M16, HK416, and MR556 platforms. Originally developed at the request of an elite organization known for aerial insertion expertise, the USASOC ACH has been adopted by USASOC and field tested in demanding environments.

The URG-I ACH features a lower-profile lever design that helps reduce snagging on gear, while checkered handling surfaces provide confident manipulation when wearing gloves or operating in challenging conditions. A rear gas-mitigating fence helps redirect gas blowback when used with short-barreled and suppressed weapon systems.

Precision 3D machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, the ambidextrous ACH is finished with a durable Type 3 Hardcoat anodized coating. The URG-I version features a roll mark with the Geissele Automatics name and ACH NSN number, reducing the amount of laser engraving and visual signature.
