The SR-15 Mod 2 features the rugged URX 4 M-LOK handguard, providing a lightweight, rigid platform for accessories while maintaining excellent ergonomics. The included Knight's Armament Micro front and 200-600 meter Micro rear sights offer dependable backup aiming capability, while the factory-installed Knight's Armament 3-Prong Flash Hider is compatible with Knight's QDC suppressors.

This upper receiver assembly includes the original KAC E3 enhanced bolt and a chrome-lined, full-auto profile M16 bolt carrier for exceptional reliability and extended service life. The enhanced E3 bolt design improves extractor performance and bolt durability compared to traditional AR-15 bolt designs.
