Designed around a compact 16.17-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, the Trapper offers excellent handling in dense woods, thick brush and backcountry terrain where fast target acquisition is critical. The threaded barrel features an 11/16x24 thread pattern and includes a factory-installed thread protector, allowing easy installation of suppressors, muzzle brakes or other muzzle accessories.

Constructed from CNC-machined stainless steel forgings, the receiver, lever and trigger guard plate provide exceptional strength and durability. The matte stainless finish minimizes glare while offering superior corrosion resistance in harsh weather conditions. A spiral-fluted polished bolt enhances smooth cycling and reliable operation.

The rifle features a durable black laminate stock and forend with sharp checkering for a secure grip in wet, cold or demanding environments. An oversized lever loop provides comfortable operation while wearing gloves, and a soft rubber recoil pad helps manage the substantial recoil generated by powerful .45-70 Government loads.

For fast sight acquisition, the Trapper is equipped with a Skinner Sights™ receiver-mounted adjustable peep sight and matching front blade sight. Combined with the rifle's compact dimensions, these sights make the Trapper exceptionally fast and intuitive to shoot.
