IMPACT PRECISION NBK SHORT ACTION

The Impact Short Action NBK brings the proven design of the popular 737R into a lighter-weight configuration designed specifically for precision hunting rifle builds. Based on the 737R, the Short Action NBK uses the same barrel tenon and headspace specifications, allowing it to readily accept 737R pre-fit barrels.

The Short Action NBK combines a hardened and finish-machined steel action body with an EDM-cut raceway and a one-piece bolt designed for smooth operation under field conditions. Fluting along the top and sides of the bolt body helps carry dirt away, while the smooth lower portion is designed for consistent cycling.

The action uses a Remington 700 Short Action footprint and is compatible with Remington 700 triggers. Its two-lug bolt is available with a 75- or 90-degree throw and interchangeable bolt knobs. The action weighs 30.5 ounces and uses 1-1/16 x 16 TPI Class 3 tenon threads.

The Short Action NBK is cut for AW and AICS magazines and can feed cartridges up to 2.960 inches overall length. A trigger hanger allows easier field maintenance, while the split integral 20 MOA rail and integral recoil lug provide a rigid foundation for a precision hunting rifle.
