IMPACT PRECISION 707R SHORT ACTION

The Impact Precision 707R Short Action delivers the performance and precision of Impact’s original short actions in a lighter-weight configuration designed for hunting rifle builds. Based on the popular 737R and Short Action NBK, the 707R uses the same barrel tenon and headspace specifications as those actions and can readily accept 737R pre-fit barrels.

The 707R features a one-piece bolt engineered with proper geometry and clearance for smooth operation under field conditions. Fluting on the top and sides of the bolt body helps carry dirt away, while the smooth bottom portion promotes smooth cycling. A black carbon nitride finish increases surface hardness and lubricity.

Built on a Remington 700 Short Action footprint, the Impact 707R accepts Remington 700 triggers and features a 75- or 90-degree, two-lug bolt design with interchangeable bolt knobs. The action uses 1-1/16 x 16 TPI Class 3 tenon threads and weighs 29.5 ounces.

The 707R will feed rounds up to 2.960" OAL and works with AW and AICS magazines. It features an integral recoil lug, trigger hanger for easier field maintenance, and a 20 MOA rail secured with four screws and two pins. Available with .308, Magnum, ARC, or .223 bolt faces, the 707R provides a versatile foundation for a precision hunting rifle.
